Welcome to DeFi University. By accessing or using our website, courses, community, live calls, and streaming content, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, subscribing to our services, or participating in our community, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DeFi University.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information as needed
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

3. Subscription and Payments

Pricing

DeFi University offers subscription-based access to our Skool community and live calls:

• Monthly: $97/month with access to all live calls and community features
• Annual: $797/year (equivalent to ~$66/month, saving approximately 30%)

The Course Hub content is available free of charge to registered users.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Subscription renewals occur automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days, contact us at hello@defiuniversity.xyz for a full refund. After 30 days, subscriptions are non-refundable, but you may cancel future renewals at any time.

4. Course Content and Intellectual Property

All content on DeFi University, including but not limited to courses, videos, live call recordings, written materials, graphics, and interactive tools, is owned by DeFi University and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. You may NOT:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content
• Share your account access with others
• Record or redistribute live calls without permission
• Use content for commercial purposes
• Create derivative works from our materials
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

When participating in our community and live calls, you agree to:

• Treat other members and instructors with respect
• Not share harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Not spam, promote, or advertise without permission
• Not share your account credentials or access

• Not violate any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• DeFi University provides all services "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• We are NOT liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.
• We are NOT liable for any investment losses, trading losses, or financial damages you may incur.
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DeFi University, its owners, employees, instructors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of our services
• Your violation of these terms
• Your investment or trading activities
• Any content you submit or share
• Your violation of any third-party rights

10. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your right to access paid content ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
